If you are a truck driver and you have your own vehicle, you may feel like you would like to bring some festive job into the hearts of others by decorating your truck in a festive manner. There are plenty of ways that you can do this in a way that is going to really bring a smile to people’s faces. In the following blog post, we are going to give you a few potential ideas that you can put into practice. 

Put on Some Lights 

There is nothing more festive when you are transporting your truck loads than having some lights jazzing up your vehicle. Obviously, it is going to be worth choosing some festive colours such as some reds and greens.

You can either go for a simple or a more complicated solution here. If you are going for the former, a little string of fairy lights across the back window is a great choice. However, if you have the latter in mind, rope lights snaking all around the body of the vehicle will make it seem like you are transporting presents from Santa Claus himself!

To ensure that you can spread the festive spirit as much as possible, make sure that you can get on the road as much as possible by getting as many truck loads from a load board. 

Use Your Dashboard as a Decorative Base 

As long as you are not going to add anything that is going to be too distracting, using your dashboard is a great option here. You can get all sorts of festive objects, such as reindeers and elves, but you need to ensure that they are all properly affixed to the dashboard as you do not want them to start flying all over the place when you are driving along! This is the opposite of the festive feel that you would have wanted to create! 

Bumper Stickers or Livery 

You can jazz up your vehicle with some festive messages and imagery by adding in some bumper stickers or livery. Essentially, this gives you plenty of freedom to choose the decorative features that you would like – and there is certainly the ease of application that is nice to know about as well! Of course, you probably do not want anything that is going to stay on too permanently unless you would like to be driving a festive vehicle all year round! 

Wrap it in a Bow 

If you are on the verge of making a long journey, it may not be the best idea to wrap your truck up in a bow. However, if you are only going to be staying relatively locally, this could prove to be a great way of bringing the festive spirit in a way that is not overly complicated!

Ultimately, you want to find a solution that is going to jazz up the vehicle without being anything that is too permanent and is going to take over.
